Your new role
As a
Contract Administrator, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager to support
the commercial, financial and administrative functions of fit ‑ out
projects. This is a fully integrated role involving client interaction,
consultant coordination and on ‑ site engagement.
Your responsibilities
will include:
- Daily management of project
financials, budgets, forecasting and monthly cost reporting
- Preparing and issuing
subcontract packages, scopes, purchase orders and variations
- Managing tender processes,
analysing trade pricing and recommending contractors
- Maintaining detailed project
registers: submittals, drawings, lead times, documentation
- Coordinating subcontractors,
reviewing plans and sequencing works across trades
- Managing claims, invoices,
change logs and value tracking
- Preparing O&M manuals, OC
documents and compliance submissions
- Supporting the Project Manager
with reporting, programming and profit planning
- Attending weekly client
meetings and documenting actions and minutes
- Contributing to safety
initiatives, site walks and continuous improvement activities
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years’ experience in a
Contract Administrator role
- 2–3 years’ experience in the
construction industry, ideally commercial fit ‑ out
- Tertiary qualifications in
Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar (desirable)
- Strong commercial management
skills including cash flow, cost control and forecasting
- Experience with Procore or
similar project management systems
- Solid understanding of trades,
construction methodologies and sequencing
- Ability to multitask, meet
deadlines and remain organised under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
