Your new role

This is a Construction Estimator role, where you will take responsibility for producing accurate quantity take-offs, compiling BOQs, along with setting budgets for luxury residential builds. Along with price file management, overrun management, and processing variations. It is a key position for this successful business, working closely with the GM and current Estimator, along with other internal and external stakeholders, from accounts to site supervisors, to engineers, subbies and suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar capacity, ideally with custom home construction as an Estimator. Although if you’re a trade-qualified carpenter with a desire to build a career in estimating, (who can do take-offs), then you’re also encouraged to apply. You will also possess excellent time management skills, be able to communicate and plan effectively with a high attention to detail. Experience with Buildxact would be an advantage but is not essential.

What you'll get in return

A competitive salary package is on offer commensurate with experience, while $90k to $100k base is a good indicator, possibly more for the right person. While this is ideally a full-time role, for the right person, part-time could also be considered, with a minimum of 3 days per week. Working in the office is essential, especially in your probation period.
