An established regional organisation is seeking a skilled and passionate Community Care Zone Manager to lead aged care and disability services across remote communities. This leadership role oversees workforce planning, service delivery, compliance, and strategic development across programs including CHSP, HCP, NATSIFAC, NDIS, and IEI.
Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and ensure culturally safe, client-centred care aligned with regional strategic plans and legislative requirements.
Your new role
Lead and manage aged care and disability programs across the South Zone
Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and governance bodies
Develop and implement operational plans and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee compliance, audits, financial reporting, and Medicare/DEX claims
Build strong relationships with clients, families, health professionals, and stakeholders
Manage rosters, timesheets, service agreements, and client records using Etools
Promote culturally appropriate service delivery and workforce development
Support WHS, equal opportunity, and diversity principles across all operations
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Finance, or Management
Extensive leadership experience in aged care and/or disability services
Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards
Proven ability to meet compliance and accreditation requirements
Excellent communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with Indigenous communities and cultural sensitivity
Strategic thinking, financial acumen, and team development expertise
Licences/ RequirementsCurrent First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Criminal History Check (within 3 months - or willingness to obtain)
Ochre Card and NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
