A highly sought-after South Australian Government department is seeking a Communications Advisor to join their team. This 5–6 month contract is available for an immediate start, with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
You will support a range of external communication activities including media and stakeholder engagement, website and social media content, and campaign delivery. This position suits a versatile communications professional confident in drafting content, coordinating projects, and maintaining brand consistency across multiple platforms.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan, produce, and distribute engaging content that aligns with departmental objectives and public messaging priorities.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in Government or a large, complex organisation is essential
Strong writing and content creation skills across web and digital platforms
Experience in media relations, external communications, and campaign delivery
Ability to translate complex information into clear, public-facing messaging
Proven stakeholder engagement and coordination experience
Immediate availability for the duration of the contract
A valid National Police Check
