Your new role

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and commercial contracts across IT and other corporate services.
• Provide practical and strategic legal advice that supports organisational goals while addressing commercial realities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and manage legal risks, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
• Work within a team of seven corporate solicitors, reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Legal.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of policies and governance frameworks to promote operational success.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-5 years of post-admission commercial legal experience, particularly in procurement, corporate governance, or contract law.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
• Experience with public sector or Victorian government procurement frameworks (highly desirable).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A current Australian practicing certificate.
