Your new company

Highly established organisation specialising in commercial, industrial and building projects. Office based in Perth with flexible hours, requiring travel 1–2 times per month

Your new role

• This role will involve estimation of projects, including commercial, building or industrial new builds, roll-outs and fit-outs.

• Working with private global clients within fast food, transport & retail.

• Analysing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial projects.

• Prepare and submit detailed financial estimates and bid proposals.

• Assess costs and prepare budgets for various commercial projects.

• Communicate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors regarding bids and contracts.

• Evaluate project risks and forecast potential cost overruns.

• Maintain updated records of all estimates, budgets, and costs.

• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Perform sign-offs, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working with private clients in commercial or industrial projects.

• Level 1 or Level 2

• Enjoys being client-facing

• Extensive knowledge of compliance and regulation

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage and solve conflict

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Reporting to senior management and working with architects and other key personnel to ensure projects meet budget and timeline

• Registration with the AQIS
