Your new company

Our client, a growing FMCG based in Sydney CBD, is looking for a Commercial Analyst on a temporary basis for 6 months initially. This role has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Your new role

• Ensure the timely, accurate, and insightful management of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Assist in forecasting and planning processes, identifying risks and opportunities for commercial performance.
• Simplify systems and processes to foster continuous improvement.
• Perform data manipulation, modelling, and analysis to deliver commercial insights to business partners and aid in pricing decisions.
• Support the brand marketing team with innovation commercials and external brand-owner relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proficient in data analysis, modelling, and system skills.
• Experienced in generating and sharing valuable insights.
• Proven track record of implementing system and process improvements.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) or in progress.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Over 4 years of postgraduate experience, ideally in a commercial setting (open to candidates transitioning from top-tier accounting firms).
• WHV considered
