Your new role

As a Cloud & Network Engineer, you’ll provide a mix of project delivery and BAU support across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and core business applications. You’ll work across deployments, upgrades, migrations, network improvements, and escalated troubleshooting. The role is predominantly work‑from‑home, offering excellent flexibility. However, candidates must be based in Sydney, as you’ll be required to attend client sites in Northwest Sydney when hands‑on work or project activity is needed. You’ll collaborate closely with a small team of engineers and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and environments common across multi‑client MSP operations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Solid understanding of IT systems, virtualisation, and storage technologies
  • Experience working in multi‑client or service‑based environments
  • Strong networking knowledge: VLANs, VPNs, LAG, routing, switching, and traffic management
  • Ability to design and implement secure business‑grade Wi‑Fi solutions
  • Exposure to cloud technologies across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft platforms including Office 365, Azure, and Windows Server
  • Experience with virtualisation (Hyper‑V essential; others advantageous)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, desktops, and networks
  • Understanding of cybersecurity basics, risk identification, and remediation
  • Previous MSP experience
  • Strong documentation and project delivery skills
