A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Clinical Coordinator to step into a key leadership position supporting the delivery of high quality youth mental health services in Emerald.
This role focuses on overseeing clinical operations, supporting practitioners, enhancing service pathways, and ensuring that young people receive evidence based, person‑centred care.
Your new role
As the Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and oversee evidence based clinical services, clinical reviews, governance processes, and team culture
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to multidisciplinary staff and student placements
- Maintain a clinical caseload, deliver focused psychological strategies, and participate in case reviews and conferences
- Ensure accurate documentation, data reporting, risk identification, and adherence to quality and accreditation standards
- Build strong relationships with community and health stakeholders while supporting culturally safe practices
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications, AHPRA/AASW registration, youth mental health experience, strong clinical skills, and required compliance checks
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or related field with AHPRA/AASW registration
- Demonstrated experience in youth mental health, with strong clinical skills in assessment, triage, and evidence‑based interventions, including supervision of multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, organisational and time‑management skills, with strong understanding of clinical governance, documentation, and compliance
- Advanced computer and electronic record‑keeping skills, plus ability to obtain a Blue Card, Yellow Card, hold a current Driver Licence, and full COVID‑19 vaccination
