An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical or building background to join a large, complex public‑sector environment delivering significant public housing and capital works programs.
This role will suit a driven professional who is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, consultants and contractors, and who has proven experience in end‑to‑end delivery of capital or development projects.

Your new role
Reporting to a senior manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple public housing and urban renewal projects across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing complex capital projects from feasibility through to delivery
Engaging and managing consultants, contractors and service providers
Overseeing procurement, tender processes and contract administration
Managing project budgets, schedules, risks and reporting
Providing high‑quality advice, briefings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Coordinating stakeholder engagement across government and industry
Ensuring compliance with governance, safety and public‑sector frameworks

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Demonstrated experience delivering building, construction or capital projects
A technical, construction or built‑environment background
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance
Experience working within or alongside government environments (highly regarded)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and reporting skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, architecture, engineering, project management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
