This company has an excellent reputation and is a prestigious global bank with a large presence in Sydney. The role will sit in the Wealth Management business.

Your new role

The role supports Wealth Management Australia Front Office with the relationship onboarding and account lifecycle management processes, from account opening, periodic reviews, change in circumstances and maintenance. This role will be focused on the execution of controls and tasks required in the Client Lifecycle Management process, with a strong focus on ensuring that client identification documentation, name screening and data capture activities meet the Bank’s policies, standards, and applicable local regulatory requirements.


• Act as Subject Matter Expert in various aspects of the account maintenance /Change-in-Circumstance processes that include but not limited to change of Beneficiary Owner and various capacities, Tax topics including FATCA and AEI, Investment Suitability, and other required requirements to ensure all accounts satisfy the required regulatory and policy standards.
• Dealing with relationship managers/front office for KYC/CLM/Client Onboarding
• Uphold the highest standards of control, always keeping data integrity in mind while carrying out day-to-day tasks
• Client Onboarding and KYC for HNW Wealth Management clients
• Stay abreast of the latest regulatory and policy requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Commerce, Finance, Law, Accounting or similar
• Minimum 2 years of client onboarding/KYC experience within the banking industry with some experience gained around Australian AUSTRAC regulations
• Strong communication both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, quick learner and enthusiastic
