Claims Consultant

Your New Role

As a Temporary Claims Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding customers through their claims journey. This position requires confidence in handling detailed enquiries, navigating multiple systems, and managing conversations with individuals who may be distressed or impacted by recent events.

  • Managing approximately 15 complex inbound calls per day
  • Providing clear, empathetic guidance to customers navigating property damage or loss
  • Interpreting reports and resolving detailed queries
  • Working across several internal systems to progress claims
  • Completing six weeks of structured training before transitioning into hybrid work (based on performance)

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you will bring strong customer service capability and the resilience to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

  • Strong customer service experience in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
  • Resilience and professionalism when supporting emotional or impacted customers
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently once transitioned to remote work
  • Comfortable working in a high‑volume call‑centre environment
  • Commitment to the full six‑month assignment
  • No planned leave during the training period

What You’ll Get in Return

  • The opportunity to transition to hybrid work after demonstrating competency – up to 3–4 days per week
  • This role operates on a 7.5-hour shift schedule, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Additionally, weekend availability is required from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Located at Eight Mile Plains – free parking on site
  • Offering $37.13/hr + Superannuation
