Your new role

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field and understands the nuances of local land development. The Civil Supervisor will manage site operations, coordinate teams and resources, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily site activities including earthworks, drainage, and road construction
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to meet deadlines
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Review plans, identify issues, and implement practical solutions
  • Support team development and promote a positive work environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience supervising civil construction projects, particularly subdivisions
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and manage compliance
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent
  • Based in Brisbane Region
