Your new role
As a Construction Project Coordinator/Systems Representative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered to the highest standards. You’ll inspect construction and maintenance activities across all phases of the project cycle, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
You’ll support the project supervisor and work crew in road construction and maintenance, guide team members, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. You’ll also take ownership of project documentation, audits, inductions, and reporting, ensuring the client receives value for money and that all systems run smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting project delivery for compliance and quality
- Managing safety, environmental, and traffic management documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting daily operations and team coordination
- Maintaining digital records and contributing to continuous improvement
- MR Truck Driving
- Civil Labouring tasks
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Civil Construction (or willingness to obtain within 18 months) or relevant civil engineering qualifications.
- A current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence (MR Driver's Licence ideal)
- Able to travel and potentially work on a roster
- Strong understanding of civil construction standards and documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly across operational units
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards
- You’ll also need to pass a pre-employment medical and random D&A testing.
