Civil labourer and truck driver council worker:
A local council in the inner west Sydney area is looking for a civil labourer with a truck licence to join their team.
This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving our local roads, footpaths, parks, street furniture replacement, drainage work, and metal fabrication, contributing to a safe and vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Road maintenance, specifically driving trucks to and from the work site, maintaining drainage structures.
- repairing failed road pavements/ footpaths, operating minor plant, using hand power and air tools.
- Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and traffic control as required.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and council policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:
- HR/MR Truck licence (mandatory)
- Traffic control (mandatory)
- WHS Industry Certificate (White Card) (mandatory)
- Previous experience in civil construction or labouring preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
