We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Civil Labourer to join our team in Townsville. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and is looking to contribute to the construction, maintenance, and improvement of essential community infrastructure.

Your new role

Carry out civil labouring and maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.
Assist with the construction and upkeep of roads, drainage, footpaths, parks, and other infrastructure.
Safely operate hand and power tools.
Support the team to deliver projects and maintenance works efficiently.
Conduct site safety checks and maintain clean, compliant worksites.
Follow all WHS policies and promote a strong safety culture.
Provide professional customer service to residents and stakeholders.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Assist with emergency response and after-hours work when required.

What you'll need to succeed

Certificate II in Civil Construction or relevant industry experience.
Construction White Card.
Current QLD C Class Licence (Construction Labourer) or MR Licence (Maintenance Labourer).
Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation or willingness to obtain.
Experience operating light plant, machinery, and equipment safely.
Sound communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
