Civil Labourer – Truck Driver & Traffic Controller

The council in Western Sydney is looking for a civil labourer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining community assets, and has the necessary licences to support civil operations across the region.

You will be involved in a range of maintenance and construction activities including roadworks, drainage, concreting, and general labouring, while also operating Council trucks and assisting with traffic control duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform general civil labouring duties such as road maintenance, asphalt repairs, concreting, and drain cleaning.
  2. Operate Council trucks (MR/HR preferred) to transport materials, equipment, and waste.
  3. Set up, monitor, and pack down traffic control sites in line with safety standards.
  4. Maintain a safe working environment and comply with WHS guidelines.
  5. Assist the team with various civil projects across the local area.
To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:
  • MR/HR Truck licence (mandatory)
  • White card (mandatory)
  • Traffic control (mandatory)
  • Experience in civil labouring or related fields is needed.
