• Undertaking project tasks as defined by the Principal Engineer.
• Preparing engineering designs, estimates, and bills of quantity aligned with project specifications.
• Monitoring project performance, including man-hour tracking, progress assessments, and commissioned fees.
• Conducting site inspections and acting as the site engineer during construction phases.
• Ensuring project deliverables are met within time and budget constraints.
• Providing regular reports to the Principal Engineer on project progress, cost, and outcomes.
• Working towards Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) membership for continued career progression.
• Adhering to Quality Management System.

What you'll need to succeed

• A strong background in civil engineering with a tertiary qualification and proven experience in project management. (Geotechnical experience desirable)
• Experience working in a consultancy environment
• Proficiency in engineering design and documentation, including cost estimations and technical reporting.
• Experience in site inspections and construction supervision.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor project performance and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, ensuring collaboration with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• A proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and project execution.
• RPEQ highly desired or commitment to professional development, including working towards RPEQ membership.
