Civil Construction Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of civil works across multiple development sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure — from design and documentation through to delivery and contractor performance.

Your new role

You’ll be responsible for managing external contractors, reviewing designs, identifying efficiencies, and ensuring civil works are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. Your ability to challenge assumptions, resolve issues early, and drive value will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee delivery of civil infrastructure across multiple sites
  • Coordinate contractors and consultants across civil, electrical, structural, and landscape scopes
  • Review design documentation and propose improvements
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with scope and standards
  • Conduct site inspections and lead coordination meetings
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methodologies
  • Prepare reports on progress, risks, and opportunities
  • Promote and uphold safety standards across all works


What you'll need to succeed

  • 10+ years in civil construction or infrastructure delivery
  • Experience managing contractors and reviewing technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of civil codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks
  • Skilled in value engineering and cost optimisation
  • Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience
  • Comfortable working on-site and engaging directly with trades
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
  • White Card and Driving Licence
