Your new company

Glengollan Village is a longstanding, values-led senior living organisation in Ferntree Gully, offering a true continuing care community across retirement living (130+ independent living units) and a fully accredited residential aged care home (up to 90 residents, including specialist dementia care) set across a peaceful, connected village environment. Glengollan Village is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to partner with the Board and lead the organisation’s next chapter, strengthening care quality, culture and sustainability while progressing a significant masterplan and capital renewal agenda.

Your new role

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is accountable to the Board for the leadership, performance and sustainability of Glengollan Village across retirement living and residential aged care. The CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, rights-based and person-centred services; a strong, values-led culture; regulatory compliance; and long-term financial stewardship.

  • Ensure organisational decisions and practices align with Glengollan’s mission, vision and values.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear operating plans, KPIs and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including fit-for-purpose digital and data capability uplift.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care and services across residential aged care, including dementia care.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance as a registered aged care provider and maintain strong relationships with regulators.
  • Lead sustainable financial performance across residential aged care and retirement living, including budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
  • Oversee retirement living performance, resident engagement and community programming, supporting strong social connection and wellbeing.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Senior executive leadership in aged care, health, human services and/or retirement living within complex operating environments.
  • Quality and safety leadership, including clinical governance and continuous improvement in regulated settings.
  • Commercial and financial acumen including budget development, forecasting, cost control and sustainability planning in regulated environments.
  • Capital program / redevelopment / property and facilities leadership (master planning, governance and delivery).
