Your new role

• Create Culinary Magic: Prepare mouth-watering, nutritious meals tailored to the unique dietary needs of aged care residents.
• Champion Food Safety: Ensure top-notch food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work alongside dedicated kitchen staff and care teams to deliver exceptional service.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven Expertise: Chef qualifications – minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and minimum 2 years kitchen experience. Aged care experience is preferred, but transferable skills will be considered.
• Nutritional Know-How: Strong understanding and demonstration of dietary requirements, texture modification and food safety regulations.
• Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work across multiple locations on a short-term basis, often with little notice.
• Be prepared with willingness to undergo National Police checks and Flu Shot updates.
