Your New Company
You will join a large, purpose‑driven public sector organisation that supports Queensland’s economic and social wellbeing. The organisation plays a critical role in collecting revenue, recovering debts, paying grants, and administering regulatory and enforcement functions that enable the delivery of essential government services.
With a strong client‑centric approach, the organisation focuses on helping individuals and businesses meet their obligations and access correct entitlements, while contributing to the efficient operation of government.
Your New Role
As the Change Manager, you will deliver end‑to‑end change management activities, including strategy, planning, implementation, and benefits realisation. Working closely with project managers and business stakeholders, you will drive business process change, improve consistency across functions, and support organisational efficiency.
You will assess change impacts across people, processes, and technology, lead stakeholder engagement activities, and ensure change initiatives are aligned with project goals and strategic objectives across complex programs of work.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience delivering organisational change initiatives in complex environments, ideally within government or similarly regulated sectors. You will be skilled at integrating change management into project delivery, conducting impact assessments and business readiness activities, and maintaining effective stakeholder engagement.
Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship‑management skills are essential, along with experience using recognised change methodologies such as Agile Change or Prosci. Exposure to frameworks such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or ITIL will be highly regarded.
What You’ll Get in Return
In return, you will have the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact initiatives that support essential public services and deliver measurable benefits. You will work in a collaborative, outcomes‑focused environment, with exposure to complex transformation programs and senior stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change, demonstrate tangible outcomes, and leave a lasting legacy through improved delivery, stronger ways of working, and increased confidence in change across the organisation.
