Change Communications Specialist

Change Communications Specialist, Temporary contract

Your new company

This organisation is undergoing a significant operational and cultural transformation. As part of this journey, we are seeking an experienced Change Communications Specialist to support teams through a critical phase of change by delivering clear, practical and engaging communications. This is a high‑impact contract opportunity for someone who can bring structure, calm and clarity to a fast‑moving environment.

This is a temporary 3 month contract. Right now the client is looking at engaging someone 3 days per week, possibly full time to begin with. They are open to getting the guidance of this person on how long is needed in the role once the roll-out has begun, as you will be guiding them on different stages.

Your new role

Following the introduction of a new operating model, the organisation is now focused on the next phase of its transformation — embedding new ways of working and helping people understand how change will work in practice. You will work to support the teams to understand why change is happening; understand where support is needed and clearly articulate how the change affects day-to-day work, roles, responsibilities and processes.

  • Supporting communications related to systems, processes, health & safety, and growth initiatives
  • Using visual tools where appropriate (e.g. org charts, simplified visuals)
About you:
You’re a senior change communications professional who is confident working in a complex, multi‑tiered organisation. You can think strategically but are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute.
You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in end‑to‑end change communications
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, evolving environments
  • The ability to simplify complexity and bring people on the journey
  • A calm, structured approach to navigating ambiguity and resistance to change
  • The ability to look at the bigger picture and advise on what the organsiation should do next- whats working and whats not working.
Experience in industrial, engineering, construction, energy or operational environments will be highly regarded, as will exposure to large-scale structural or organisational change.

What you'll get in return

  • A highly visible role supporting a meaningful transformation
