Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and specialist functions—including learning, communications, technical and delivery teams—you’ll help ensure the organisation is ready to transition to new systems, processes and ways of working.
Your New Role
As the Change Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful adoption of the new system. You’ll assess change impacts, support business readiness activities, and contribute to a wide range of change management artefacts. Your work will help stakeholders understand what’s changing, why it matters, and how to prepare.
Key responsibilities include:
Change Impact & Readiness
- Conduct detailed change impact assessments across affected roles, processes, systems and behaviours.
- Identify change risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies to shape planning and sequencing.
- Support business readiness assessments, checkpoints and go-live criteria.
- Contribute to transition activities such as cutover, hypercare and early-life support.
Change Management Delivery
- Develop and maintain key artefacts, including change and adoption plans, readiness checklists, learning plans and communication schedules.
- Support the rollout of change activities aligned to established frameworks.
- Track and report on change progress, risks and issues.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Facilitate workshops, briefings and engagement activities.
- Prepare, review and distribute communication materials tailored to varied audiences.
- Assist with managing digital communication channels to support awareness and adoption.
Learning & Capability Support
- Support learning needs analysis and validate training requirements arising from change.
- Help develop and coordinate learning assets such as job aids, walkthroughs and intranet content.
- Assist with learning delivery logistics, evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as required.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar change-focused role.
- Proven experience supporting organisational change within projects or programs.
- Strong capability in conducting change impact assessments and supporting business readiness.
- Experience working in government or complex organisational environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office capability, especially PowerPoint.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in business, communication, or related fields.
- Change management certification (e.g., PROSCI).
- Experience in large-scale digital, ICT or enterprise system implementations.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and e‑learning authoring tools.
- Proficiency across software such as SharePoint Online, Adobe Creative Suite, Visio, Viva Engage, Microsoft Forms, and similar tools.
