Looking for a hands-on role in aged care that fits around your life? Hays Recruitment is a market leader in temporary hospitality staffing, and we work with aged care providers and contractors across multiple locations in Newcastle, the Central Coast and lower Hunter Valley.

Your new role

You’ll be part of a friendly kitchen team, helping prepare and serve meals to aged care residents.
Prep food and assist with meal service
  • Keep the kitchen and servery clean and safe
  • Work in a fast-paced, supportive environment
  • Make a real difference in people’s daily lives

What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for hands-on, dependable people who are ready to jump in.
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen or similar setting
  • A valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Current flu vaccination
  • Aged care experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Flexible availability and preparation to take shifts at short notice
  • A team mindset and good communication skills
