About the Role
My client is looking for a Category Specialist to support the delivery of infrastructure, maintenance, and capital projects across our port operations.
In this role, you will partner with internal teams to manage procurement and contracts, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
What You’ll Do
Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting activities
Support project teams with cost, quality, and schedule controls
Lead sourcing, evaluations, and contract awards
Administer contracts (variations, claims, payments, etc.)
Develop and deliver category and sourcing strategies
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and government requirements
What We’re Looking For
Degree in business, commerce, construction, legal or similar
Around 5+ years’ experience in procurement or contract management
Experience with infrastructure or construction projects
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing contracts end-to-end
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to travel between locations when required
