Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading various goods in a safe and professional manner. Varying from general freight, to white goods, or even office furniture and crates. You will be required to comply with all WHS standards and procedures whilst also assisting with providing security for company vehicles, goods and property and work across various locations in Canberra.

What you'll need to succeed

• White Card, Asbestos Awareness Card and Silica ticket will open up more opportunities for work as some sites will require these.
• A current driver’s license and reliable transport
• Be physically able to perform all work related to the position
• Recent experience in a similar role is essential

What you'll get in return

You will be paid weekly at an hourly rate of $34 an hour with all industry allowances and penalties as applicable. Additionally, as this role is a temporary position, you will have the opportunity to continue gaining contract positions through Hays once each position is completed.
