Carpenters & Trades Assistants

We are currently looking for Carpenters and Trades Assistants to commence on a short-term project in Mackay!

Our client is a trusted Australian-owned provider of electrical and energy solutions with extensive experience in industrial construction. They deliver end-to-end services across mining, infrastructure, and power generation projects, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation. With over 30 years of proven performance, they are known for delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting complex infrastructure developments.

Your new role

  • Completing a fit out at a facility for a new switch room
  • Working with CFC sheets and cladding
  • Installing walls and doors
  • Operation of EWP
  • Upholding all WHS procedures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade Qualified – Carpenter (for carpenters)
  • Previous experience off siding carpenters (for TA’s)
  • Must have EWP ticket and experience
  • White Card
  • Living locally in the Mackay region
  • Contactable references

What you'll get in return

If you're successful in securing this role, you'll be joining a highly respected client for an initial 8-week project with the potential for extension, working Monday to Friday with 10-hour days. To be considered, you must be trade qualified (for carpenters), hold a current EWP ticket, and have relevant experience. The flat hourly rate is $60 for carpenters and $48 for trades assistants.
