Trade Assistants and Carpenters needed in Rockhampton for a 2-month commercial project. Great rates on offer

Your new company

Our client is a reputable construction contractor delivering commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects across Queensland. They are seeking reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants and Carpenters to support site operations across two active projects in Rockhampton.

Your new role

Commencing on 24 July 2026 through to 21 September 2026, you will work alongside the Site Foreman across two commercial sites in Rockhampton. Duties will vary depending on project requirements and may include installing skirting boards, hanging doors, installing framing supports, general site maintenance, assisting trades, cleaning work areas, and completing a range of construction tasks to support project delivery. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who are adaptable, reliable, and capable of working across multiple aspects of a commercial construction environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Current White Card
  • Trade qualification (for Carpenter applicants)
  • Proven experience in commercial construction environments
  • Own tools and reliable transport
  • Ability to work independently and follow direction from the Site Foreman
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to site safety
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of construction and site support tasks
  • Exceptional reliability and punctuality

Successful candidates will receive competitive rates, with Skilled Trade Assistants earning $45 per hour plus penalties and Carpenters earning $55 per hour plus penalties.
