Hays Recruitment Darwin is currently seeking qualified and experienced Carpenters for multiple roles local to Darwin. We are looking for carpenters with a background in residential, commercial, and industrial construction, including framing, fit-outs, and maintenance.

Your new role

The projects consist of:
  • New builds and structural framing
  • Commercial and residential fit-outs
  • Some plastering and tiling
  • Formwork and concrete preparation
  • Decking, roofing, and cladding
  • General maintenance and repairs
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant Carpentry qualification, minimum Certificate III in Carpenter
  • White Card
  • Some plastering and tiling experience
  • Ochre Card or ability to get a working with children card
  • Based in Darwin
  • Construction experience
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current driving licence
