Call Centre Operator
Rate: $36.11 per hour plus Super
Type: Ongoing contract
Hours: Monday–Friday rotating roster, 7 hours a day, 35 hours per week
Location: Maitland

To note: The successful candidate would be expected to fulfil the full-time 2-week training period. Once the successful candidates complete the training, there will be a nesting period of 12 weeks when ongoing support will be provided.

Your new role
The successful candidates will be placed on a rotating roster, Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays.
After completing training, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Answering inbound calls, addressing queries and providing accurate information to clients
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Using multiple government systems, entering data and navigating multiple screens
  • Meeting KPIs

    What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a government or call centre role (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration or similar (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to 'smile through the phone'
  • Tech-savvy, the ability to pick up systems quickly and navigate across multiple government programs
  • Successful candidates may need to complete a police check
