Business Support and Payroll Coordinator

This well-established global organisation operates within a fast-paced industrial environment, supporting complex operations across multiple business functions. With a strong focus on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement, they are seeking a capable Business Support & Payroll Coordinator to provide critical support across administration, payroll, HR, and finance on a 0.8F FTE basis.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied and hands-on role where you will deliver integrated support across the business. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across weekly and fortnightly cycles. Alongside payroll, you will provide proactive administrative support to the Executive team, coordinate travel and events, and contribute to reporting and documentation. You will also support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and return-to-work coordination, while maintaining internal communications and assisting with broader finance and operational activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll, administration, or business support role
  • Strong end-to-end payroll experience, including reconciliations and statutory compliance
  • Exposure to HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle support
  • Experience working across systems such as ERP or HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP, or similar)
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality
