Your new role

As an experienced individual in training and instructional design within defence or heavy industries, you will utilise your skills to support delivering such capabilities to new & existing companies.

You will be developed to support commercial growth and strategic direction of the business that specialises in developing training materials — including video and eLearning — for heavy industries such as defence. This role is best suited to a performance-driven, entrepreneurial leader who thrives on building relationships, driving sales, and shaping strategy from the ground up. You will initially operate as a hands-on business developer and relationship manager, before building a high-performing team to support long-term growth.

This opportunity is well-suited to either:

• An ex-Army Captain with experience in instructional design / training delivery with a strong commercial mindset and Business Development capability. Additionally, with an understanding of heavy machinery.
• A Business Development Professional with experience of training capabilities in heavy industry, who is eager to be mentored & coached to expand their experience across business operations and general management.
• All candidates must have a solid understanding/experience in heavy asset maintenance or heavy machinery, and the ensuing critical safety prerequisites.
• This role may also be suited to those with existing general management experience within instructional design/training delivery companies, within either defence or heavy industries.
