Your new role

Working as a Business Development Underwriter you will be;

  • Responsible for the delivery of market awareness of Commercial Lines product suite and capability.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with the intermediary market.
  • In charge of delivery of individual leads and generating new business in accordance with set targets.
  • Supporting the Head of Business Development and Marketing in planning and overseeing the delivery of marketing initiatives in line with company strategy and in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Underwriting risks within your underwriting authority.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Broker, Underwriter or BDM preferably within an agency
  • Competent knowledge of commercial classes (Liability and PI preferred but not necessary)
  • A strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work be market-facing
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
