Your new role

This role is focused on identifying new commercial opportunities, strengthening client partnerships, and contributing to sustained revenue growth across key markets. Based in North Sydney, this position offers the chance to work closely with internal technical teams while engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Proactively source, qualify, and convert new business opportunities to achieve growth targets.

  • Develop trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding operational needs and delivering tailored solutions

  • Analyse market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify strategic growth opportunities

  • Partner with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure solutions are delivered efficiently and to specification.

  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations to secure new work

  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

  • Track sales activity and pipeline performance, providing regular reporting to senior leadership

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)

  • Demonstrated success in business development or technical sales within mining, resources, or a related industrial sector

  • Strong understanding of mining operations, infrastructure, and site-based challenges

  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Able to build credibility with decision-makers across technical and executive levels

  • Commercially astute, analytical, and solutions-focused

  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously

  • Willingness to travel as required to support clients and projects
