Your new role

You will be joining this organisation as a Business Development Manager, in a newly created position, driving business across Southeast Australia. You will be based out of Tasmania OR Melbourne, targeting a broad variety of channels, driving profitable revenue, margin, and volume growth for the business, whilst influencing end users within the built environment. You will report directly into the team in Tasmania.

What you'll need to succeed

This role will see you integrate into a diverse environment where you can clearly demonstrate your skills and experience in the Timber industry. With excellent communication and an ability to build strong working relationships, you must also have proven knowledge and experience with:

  • Strong business development/Sales experience
  • Experience in Timber Sales needed, open to a variety of channels sold in the industry
  • Autonomous and self-driven
  • Strong network of end users highly regarded
  • Strong commercial acumen
