Business Development Manager-Non-Bank Lending (Capital Fund)
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing fund portfolios, enhancing engagement, and driving new business opportunities. Working closely in the property development investment sector.
Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring assigned broker portfolios through various channels to provide exceptional service.
- Developing a deep understanding of products, policies, and loan structuring to offer informed guidance (Development loans, first mortgage loans, Bridging loans and project management)
- Discussing loan scenarios and structures with mortgage brokers and clients.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our network.
- Understanding the full cycle of loan settlement in the investment sector.
- Efficiently managing tasks and undertaking additional duties as directed by management.
Required Skills
- An experienced lending BDM with non-bank lender experience.
- An existing broker network to leverage and drive lead generation for our loan product.
- In-depth understanding of the mortgage broker channel, mortgage managers, and aggregators + network to leverage.
- Experience in implementing and promoting new loan products – desirable.
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Persistence and determination to engage brokers and drive activation.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative.
- Problem-solving and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performing team and deliver high-quality work.
- A friendly, energetic, and authentic approach to building relationships.
