client is a leading specialist in unmanned aerial systems, underwater
submersibles and mix-use drones. They are the most trusted authorized
Australian dealer of the world-leading UAS manufacturer DJI and offer the full
range of DJI products and accessories to the Australian market, including
consumer drones, professional drones, agricultural drones, and consumer and
professional video equipment. They also supply the Australian market with Swell
Pro all-weather drones and the Chasing range of underwater submersible drones.
Their vast product range is not limited to just drones, as they also supply the
Australian market with action cameras, graphics tablets, ultra-portable
projectors, and a range of other enterprise technology solutions .
Your new role
In this role, you’ll
foster relationships with prospects to identify, develop, and close new
business and expand revenue with companies and organizations through the
Enterprise segment, for example Aerial Surveying and AEC, Oil & Gas, Public
Safety, Agriculture, Construction, Electrical + more.
Key duties include:
- Developing and
implementing sales and marketing plans for Enterprise customers, especially focusing on the Surveying & Public Safety sector
- Enhancing product
and brand awareness and presence amongst selected resellers and/or market
segments
- Supporting various
marketing activities as well as contributing to any HQ planning tasks
- Building strong
relationships and accurate account data with partners and distributors
- Collaborating with
the Managing Director to discover new ways or channels to promote products and
solutions
- Analysing the
market, finding key decision-makers, creating marketing or promotional
campaigns and generating leads
- Achieving individual
(KPIs) and team targets
- Working with
technical teams to propose suitable solutions based on external needs and
specifications
- Coordinating with internal product & account management staff
- Delivering product
& solution training as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous B2B
sales experience with knowledge of key players in the surveying and construction sector
- Knowledge of and
contacts within the technology industry and key target clients
- Exceptional client
service skills and well developed negotiation & persuasion skills
- Strong customer
service ethic, positive attitude and a desire to succeed
- Current Australian
drivers license and full working rights
- Desirable but not essential: some understanding of UAV/drones industry & experience flying them! (Perhaps even a Remote
Pilot Licence)
