We are working with a market-leading renewable energy company at the forefront of wind, solar, and battery storage technologies. As they continue to expand their footprint across Australia, they are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Business Development Manager to lead the development and execution of major bids and tenders.


Your new role

In this strategic and hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the end-to-end development of bids, proposals, and tender submissions for large-scale renewable energy projects.

  • Identifying commercial opportunities across government and private sector clients, including energy retailers, infrastructure developers, and industrial users.

  • Collaborating with internal teams including engineering, legal, and finance to build compelling and competitive proposals.

  • Managing tender timelines, compliance requirements, and bid governance processes.

  • Supporting broader business development initiatives, from early-stage market intelligence through to contract negotiation.


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:


  • Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities sectors.

  • A strong track record of preparing and winning complex tenders or proposals.

  • Exceptional written communication and project coordination skills.

  • Commercial acumen and a proactive mindset – you enjoy turning opportunity into action.

  • The ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and C-suite stakeholders.
