Business Analyst required for a large-scale transformation initiative - initial 6-month contract

As part of a broader digital strategy, the organisation is undertaking a series of transformation projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and service delivery. They are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to support these initiatives.

Your new role

This opportunity is with a respected government-backed organisation that plays a vital role in supporting community-focused services. With a strong emphasis on digital transformation and service improvement, the organisation is delivering a range of strategic initiatives and is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support its ongoing program of work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather and validate requirements
  • Analyse business processes, systems, and data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of new systems and processes
  • Prepare high-quality documentation including business cases and reports
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement
  • Promote awareness and understanding of ICT services and solutions across the organisation

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • TechnologyOne ERP implementation experience is essential.
  • Substantial experience delivering business analysis services in complex project environments
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation or ICT projects
  • Desirable: BPMN certification, PRINCE2 knowledge, and public sector experience
