Your new role
As a Broker Credit Associate, you will be responsible for credit assessment for new home loan applications whilst ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and processes. You’ll work closely with internal & external stakeholders to support a customer’s loan journey.

Your role will include but not be limited to:
  • Completing credit assessment and verification for new home loan applications
  • End to end case management of customer requests and complaints
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders with a high focus on delivering results to customers in line with the operating procedures
  • Resolving complex complaints by being an expert in the customer complaints platform
  • Perform 1st line of defence and adhere to risk frameworks and policies
  • Monitor inboxes and respond to requests from front-line bankers and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet critical deadlines around loan approval
  • Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by inputting the correct information in core NAB systems and in line with team processes

The Details
  • Location: 700 Bourke Street, Melbourne
  • Start date: 13/04/2026
  • Duration: 12-month temporary contact
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible between 8 am – 6 pm
  • Hybrid: After 2 months, full-time in-office will need to do 2 days in the office
  • Remuneration: $51.54 per hour + Super
What you'll need to succeed
  • Prior credit assessment experience is mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate will have previously held a secured lending DCA
  • Prior experience in banking/finance operations
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
