We’re partnering with a respected national organisation to find a resilient and strategic Branch Manager to lead operations across two regional offices in Far North Queensland.
This is a leadership-focused role with no individual portfolio management, offering the opportunity to shape team culture, drive operational excellence, and support growth in a complex professional services environment.
Your new role
As Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 20+ across two offices (Cairns and Port Douglas), including strata managers, team leaders, and admin support. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, including reporting, invoicing, workflow management, and service delivery. Ensure targets are met and budgets are aligned.
- Client & Staff Support: Handle escalations, support team leaders and strata managers, and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Talent Development: Coach and mentor staff, promote a learner mindset, and support career growth through structured development initiatives.
- Business Development: Represent the branch externally, contribute to growth strategies, and participate in budget planning and performance reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years in a leadership role within professional services (e.g., real estate, insurance, legal, financial services would be highly desirable).
- Experience in strata management or a strong understanding of property legislation and governance is also highly desirable.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Proven ability to lead through change, manage complex interpersonal dynamics, and maintain composure in high-pressure environments.
- Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, financial reporting, and service delivery metrics.
- People-Centric Approach: Warm, modern leadership style with a focus on nurturing talent and building trust.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with multiple systems and tools, including Microsoft Office.
