About the role:
Our client services a number of product segments including mining, earthmoving, mobile and crawler cranes, maritime cranes, tower cranes and components. They are seeking skilled Boilermakers/welders to join their maintenance team, responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment related to mining operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimise equipment downtime;
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders accurately;
• Operate cutting, grinding, and welding equipment safely and effectively;
• Conduct structural inspections and report defects or hazards;
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to prioritise tasks;
• Maintain compliance with site safety standards and procedures;
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding);
• High Risk Work Licence;
• Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets (preferred);
• Experience with heavy equipment;
• Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick);
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
• Familiarity with equipment safety protocols and hazard identification;
• Full Australian working rights;
• Availability to work on weekends as required;
  
• Availability to work on remote sites as required.
