Your new company

Our client is a world leader in turnout technology for railways, metros, and tramways. With over 30 years of local experience, they serve all of Australia and New Zealand from their workshops in Mackay and Bathurst. Their expertise lies in providing innovative and high-quality solutions for rail infrastructure, including pre-assembled turnouts, smart monitoring systems, and customised trackwork. They are currently looking for a Boilermaker to join their team in Mackay.

Your new role

  • Working on railway equipment in the workshop
  • Operating machinery to fabricate components.
  • Welding and assembling larger structures and components.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure accurate construction.
  • Performing quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
  • Collaborating with team members and following all production and safety processes

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade Qualified – Boilermaker
  • Driver’s licence or reliable transport
  • Previous experience
  • Ability to complete a police check
  • Contactable references
  • Living locally in the Mackay region
