Boilermaker/Welders are needed for ongoing work in the Fabrication Shop in Unanderra.

Specialising in heavy structural steel, stainless and mild steel fabrication, plasma cutting, press braking, and site installation, this team delivers quality solutions for industrial, commercial, and mining applications.

The Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Boilermaker/Welder to:
  • Mon – Fri – 6am – 14:00
  • Interpret and fabricate to detailed engineering drawings
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on carbon, stainless, and aluminium
  • Operate plasma cutters, grinders, press brakes, and drilling machines
  • Assemble, fit, and install fabricated components on-site when required
  • Conduct quality inspections, ensure weld integrity, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the production and project teams to meet delivery schedules

Key Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welder)
  • Proven experience in heavy structural welding and pressure vessel fabrication
  • Current welding qualifications (MIG, TIG, SMAW)
  • Solid blueprint reading and dimensional verification skills
  • Strong understanding of OHS procedures and safe handling of equipment
  • Forklift licence and dogman/slinger ticket (desirable)
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
