Mechanical Fitters, Maintenance Fitters & Boilermakers – Multiple Roles Available

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitters, Maintenance Fitters, and Boilermakers to join a variety of companies across Melbourne’s East and South-East suburbs. All roles begin on a casual basis and will lead into full-time.

  • Truck and heavy vehicle service providers – performing diagnostics, servicing, and overhauls
  • Steel fabrication workshops – working on structural steel, custom builds, and industrial components
  • Machinery manufacturers and maintenance teams – assembling, servicing, and upgrading industrial equipment

Your new role

We have multiple roles available, including:
  • Mechanical Fitters – working on assembly, fault-finding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and machine upgrades
  • Maintenance Fitters – handling breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and servicing of production equipment
  • Boilermakers – performing MIG and TIG welding, structural fabrication, and interpreting technical drawings

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III in Engineering or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Basic hand and power tools
  • Reliable transport
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
Bonus skills (not essential but highly regarded):
  • Forklift or EWP licence
  • Welding tickets or pressure vessel experience
  • Experience with CNC machinery or PLC systems
