Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare paint to desired colour and consistency
- Clean, adjust, and maintain spray guns and other painting equipment
- Perform rust repairs and surface preparation for painting
- Dismantle, prepare, paint, and reinstall equipment components
- Clean machinery and equipment prior to painting
- Mask surfaces accurately before paint application
- Apply paint using spray guns and brushes
- Apply decals to machinery and aircraft-related tooling
- Paint custom-built ground support equipment and tooling
- Maintain stock levels of paints, tools, and consumables
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental safety standards in the paint bay
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in industrial or aviation painting and blasting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of OH&S practices in a workshop or industrial setting
- Forklift or EWP licence (desirable but not essential)
