They are looking for individuals to help their business customers process their everyday transactions through account opening and account maintenance.

Your new role

This is the perfect role for someone who has banking, back office processing and/or branch. We will also consider entry level candidates holding a related degree and customer service experience. Duties will include:

  • Opening new accounts and processing requests for the maintenance of existing accounts

  • Following set instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines

  • Speaking with bankers and business customers on the phone and via email about their requests

  • Conducting checks, verification and investigation where relevant

  • Thinking outside the box when raising issues and sharing ideas for process improvement

  • Working in a fast paced environment with very high attention to detail

What you'll need to succeed

  • Banking experience from branch or processing roles is preferred as as well as those with no banking experience but a related degree and customer service experience

  • Work under pressure with customers and bankers chasing updates, and being able to deal with time bound SLAs and high importance business customers

  • Be able to deal with complex requirements and also monotonous tasks

  • Must be able to follow a SOP and a process

  • You must be willing to learn and to worked accurately and efficiently in a team environment

  • Located in Redfern, you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of $37.13/hr + Super for an initial 12 months. This role has the potential to extend and become permanent for those who perform well and demonstrate the correct behaviours

  • During training, you will be required to work full time in the office 5 days per week for 3 months. Thereafter, you will have the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week

  • Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, you will enjoy an exciting, supportive and thriving environment with a well respected big 4 bank

  • If selected, you must be able to attend an in person assessment centre on Tuesday 14th April from 9am to 12 pm
