Your new company

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a short-term opportunity? We have an exciting 6-week temporary position assisting the People and Culture team at a prominent organisation in the Hobart CBD.

Your new role

As an HR Administration Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the team’s operations and ensuring smooth processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Relations Support:
  • Coordinate and send out requests related to enterprise relations, including investigation reports and proposed sanctions.
  • Liaise with relevant parties to identify preferred communication methods.
  • Collaborate with process servers and manage Australia Post processes.
Invoice Management:
  • Process invoices and ensure timely submission to managers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
File Searches and Documentation:
  • Conduct file searches as needed.
  • Organise and maintain HR-related documents.
New Starter Assistance:
  • Support new starters with access requests and other administrative tasks.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Call Back Requests and General Admin:
  • Manage call back requests promptly.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to timeframe and deadlines.
Process Mapping and Template Development:
  • Assist in developing templates and process maps.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in HR administration or related roles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
