Your new role

As a Backup Administrator, you will operate in a Level 2 technical support capacity, acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk and working closely with internal teams, customers, and vendors. This is a customer‑facing role requiring strong communication skills alongside a solid technical background.

What you'll need to succeed

This role would suit an experienced Level 2 Support professional with a strong background in IT services and data protection technologies. You will be comfortable in a remote position, working directly with customers and able to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience supporting backup and disaster recovery technologies (Rubrik, Druva, Zerto, Commvault, NetBackup)
• Exposure to ITIL processes and service management environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a technical support or service desk environment
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell desirable)
• Strong documentation skills
